Braven
Its mission is to empower promising, underrepresented young people with the skills, confidence, experiences and networks necessary to transition from college to strong first jobs, which lead to meaningful careers and lives of impact.

Mission
Braven believes there are four primary barriers contributing to the underemployment challenge for recent graduates who are first-generation, low-income, or students of color: a lack of access to career readiness preparation; a gap in professional confidence; a lack of access to professional experiences; and a lack of access to a robust professional network. Braven Fellows have achieved an 80% on-time graduation rate within six years, compared to only about 60% of their Black and Latinx peers at public universities.
