The Vidmob team partnered with Percent Pledge to develop a global corporate volunteering program. The program includes volunteer events in multiple cities across the world.
At Percent Pledge, we create tailored social impact programs, empowering companies and their employees to donate to and volunteer for the trusted charities they care about most. Our Social Impact Managers work hand in hand with each customer to ensure volunteer events are customized to the company’s values and inclusive of employees’ passions.
Vidmob has a mix of remote and in office employees at their Sao Paulo office. The team wanted to host an in-person volunteer event so employees could come together and make a meaningful impact together. The team wanted to give back to their local community in a meaningful way that leveraged some of their skills.
The Percent Pledge team planned an event at Casa Limiar. Vidmob volunteers spent the day at Casa Limiar, a foster home for vulnerable children in Sao Paulo, during their visit volunteers installed outdoor lighting to increase the safety around the home, put safety filters on the kid's computers, organized the home's playroom and library, and played many games with the children.
The 15 children that call Casa Limiar home were all smiles after the event.
