The experience was great. I was a little scared I wouldn't be able to contribute much in the time allowed, mostly afraid I couldn't figure out how to make the product. Appreciate the ease of it and that additional time after the meeting is allowed. Also, I suspect much of the value is that the material was educational to myself and other volunteers. I learned a great deal just in being given the list of great figures in black history. I now have a new SciFi author to read! I think this is a great platform and partner organization. We volunteered at the Food Bank of NYC, serving people in upper Manhattan. Everyone received plenty of quality, fresh produce various other items for a balanced diet. I would recommend Food Bank of NYC for future Yello volunteer events!
