Remote Volunteering for LGBTQ+ Elders Supporting SAGE

This Pride Month, 250 employees from nearly 100 companies joined forces to support LGBTQ+ elders through an online volunteer opportunity that made a lasting impact.

With guidance from our nonprofit partner SAGE, the nation’s leader in serving LGBTQ+ older adults, volunteers wrote nearly 400 heartfelt letters—all during a fully virtual, live, and facilitated experience.

For many, it was their first time using volunteer time off (VTO) for a cause like this. For all, it was a joyful, eye-opening way to celebrate Pride and give back from anywhere.

Two Sessions. Global Volunteering and Employee Engagement.

To support distributed and global teams, Percent Pledge hosted:

• A CET session for European teams
• An EST session for North American teams
  

Both events were interactive, music-filled, and accessible to all. They featured inspiring stories from SAGE, easy onboarding, and built-in facilitation—zero planning required from participants.

Due to growing demand, we’re adding an APAC session to some of our upcoming Community Volunteer Opportunities!
